In Style On the Red Carpet

In Downtown Los Angeles yesterday (Aug.29.2010) was the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards hosted by late night-er Jimmy Fellon, broadcasted on NBC and of course, with so many stars I was more interested in knowing who is wearing what on the red carpet. So let`s get to it! Here are a few images I found of stars in their best.

To preserve the beauty of your product as long as possible, we recommend you follow these few instructions:

- Avoid exposing your bag, small leather good or accessory to sunlight, the silk-screen printing colors may fade. Bright and light colors are particularly sensitive to light, due to the pigments used.

- Store your article in the felt pouch provided to protect it.

- Prevent your bag from humidity and keep it away from direct sources of heat (radiators, inside of cars in summer).

- Avoid prolonged contact with any material that may transfer its color pigments onto the coated canvas (magazines, other leathers...) particularly onto the white canvas: any color migration on the light canvas is definitive.

Kendra Francis Is Miss Independent

To my dear fellow friends who have been following me on my venture I apologize for not being consistent for the past week or so updating you people with the fashion world. My apologies! I had a few special events occurring; like the celebration of my sons first birthday and a family reunion. (Must I say it was wonderful!) Oh yeah, I also had to get myself a new laptop. Well that is enough of that. Let us get to the juicy stuff.

So while I was browsing the internet this afternoon, doing the usual checking my emails and following up on latest trends; I came across an email about Toronto’s own Fashion Designer Kendra Francis, and what is more better writing about our own.

Kendra Francis, standing at a 5’11”, with a gypsy spirit, and her flawless beauty was one of the finalists on Project Runway Canada in 2008. She grew up in a European neighbourhood in Malton. Born in a family of tailors and seamstresses, Kendra was bound to have such talent. Making her first dress at a young age of 13, she continued her passion for fashion. Travelling to New York, she tried modeling but it just was not something she loved of course after that experience she made her way to Europe, and after that journey, she came back to her hometown Toronto to study fashion at Ryerson University. After her 4 years, she finally launched her luxury apparel fashion label, FRANKE, in 2001 and she opened her own boutique. Also works as a stylist photo shoots, commercials and music videos. (Talk about a go-getter!)

Alicia Keys Beautiful & Ready In Her Wedding Dress.

So we all know about singer Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beats being an item and expecting their first child together, and for those who didn't know; now you know. well these two love birds got married on July,31,2010 in Southern Corsica by the Mediterranean Sean. It so happened while I was browsing the internet I came across their wedding picture, and I just had to share this with you guys because she just looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. She wore a gorgeous ivory silk, Georgette, draped gown by Vera Wang. The style was inspired by a style of dress worn by Egyptian princesses. Worn with the dress was a beautiful tiara decorated with different diamonds, and Christian Louboutin shoes without heels, decorated with large colored beads. While her husband wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford.

So we all know on Monday.Aug.09.2010 was the Teen Choice Awards 2010. Filled with many talented stars; I just have to to talk about who was the best dressed. After all this is a Fashion Blog! So guess who was there looking "OH SO FAB!" Toronto's own, Yes!, Toronto's own Nina Dobrev of The Vampire Diaries. Looking stellar in her Alex Perry corssetted dress with illusion netting, sequin and crystal embellishment which she complements with silver metalic heels. Oh, and btw she was featured on Flare Magazines top 10 best dressed starlets of that night.
